Your Chance to Have Your Say – Listening Event 23rd April

Dear supporter,

Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust are holding more listening events this month and one of them is being held in Newark. It is imperative that those of us who care about the future of Newark Hospital and the continued erosion of healthcare services in Newark attend this event and tell the Trust representatives what we think.

Details of the event are shown below:

Date: Wednesday 23rd April
Time: 6.30pm
Location: Newark Town Hall

Please attend and please bring as many of your friends with you. The more people that turn up and voice their opinion the more chance we have of reversing the decline in healthcare services in Newark.

The major political parties are beginning to show an interest in our cause with both the Conservative and Labour prospective parliamentary candidates expressing a desire to see better healthcare provision for Newark. Unless we continue to get our opinions heard there is still a significant risk that the fight will be lost.
Please attend the event and voice your support for Newark Hospital.

Thank you for your continued support.

New Proposals for Newark Hospital

In the wake of the Keogh review Sherwood Forest Hospitals Foundation Trust and the Newark Clinical Commissioning Group have published their proposals for Newark Hospital.

The overwhelming theme that emerged was the need to ensure that Newark Hospital is a vibrant healthcare centre and provided high quality care that was close to home.

How do these proposals meet the aspirations of local people?

Please view or download the documents here http://synh.org.uk/downloads/ and have your say.
